A favorite song . . .

Rachel Brooke has become one of my favorite recording artists. I wish she would come to Bloomington!

Well, sing you my song but I know you won’t like it
I know you think that all my songs are s**t
Well that’s ok darlin dont you worry bout it baby
Cause I know that all my songs aren’t worth a s**t
But a dead dog will feel no pain
Tomorrow I might be on that train
But if i turn my back on you baby
Don’t think I forgotten all that you gave

When I think of you my back beads cold
like the devil breathin down my neck
Remindin me of all I could do
and how they’ll be no turning back

but a dead dog will feel no pain
tomorrow i might be on that train
but if i turn my back on you baby
dont think i forgotten all that you gave

Well i aint sorry for nothin i done
Yeah i’m not sorry for you
cause I live where you came
throwing the stones
and your heart has always been true

but a dead dog will feel no pain
tomorrow i might be on that train
but if i turn my back on you baby
dont think i forgotten all that you gave

Yes a dead dog will feel no pain
tomorrow i might be on that train
and if i turn my back on you baby
dont think I forgotten all that you gave

Yeah i’ll never forget what you gave
